Why?

Do people really think about what they do and how they treat people as opposed to how they are treated? Why is it that you can support people in their endeavors and when you need the support it isn’t there?

We are supposed to treat people the way we want to be treated, at least that’s what the Bible says. The way a person treats another person shows me how they want to be treated. Which also shows me they don’t know their value/worth and so it trickles down to other unsuspecting people.

So, in summary, learn your worth and you’ll learn how to treat others.

Serving the Father

Do you serve for things or do you serve because you love Him?

Jesus didn’t have to serve and He definitely didn’t have to come to His own creation but He did. He didn’t complain, He wasn’t hesitant, and He certainly didn’t point out our flaws. He showed us how to love and worship the Father. He showed us how to walk in the authority given to us. He was and is our example of total and complete submission.

He not only told us about The Kingdom of Heaven, but He showed us how to live in it. Yet we didn’t and don’t pay attention even today.

I had a conversation with a friend and she was explaining to me how she saw people being told to clean the church. When I asked what was that supposed to do, she then explained that it was supposed to be serving. My question is who said that was serving, God or man? Serving is a heart issue. It’s a condition of love. You can clean the church as long as the day but if your heart isn’t in it and its not unto the Lord then whats is the point? It’s all in vain.

The next time you do something, no matter what it is, ask yourself : Why am I doing this?

Your answer will determine whether or not you are serving!

Maturity

At what point do you decide to come away from childish things and behaviors?

It would seem to me when you become of age to have to live on your own and take care of bills and so on. I’ve learned that is not the case for many.

The Apostle Paul said when I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child,, I thought as a child, but when I became a man I put away childish things (1 Corinthians 13:11).

So my question is, when is the transition from child to man? When is the transition from child to woman? When do we grow up to do the things God has put us here to do? When do we put our affairs in God’s hand and do His will?

Spiritual maturity and natural maturity seems to be more scarce than ever! How do the unsaved get saved and stay saved if there are are no mature people to help them come to Jesus and learn how to stay there?

We have got to get it together and help people get on the right path to life and detour off of the road of death!!

Doubt

Have you ever been in a place in your life where you just know that you know that you know without a shadow of a doubt and then something happens opposite of what you expected and causes you to doubt?

What do you do when that happens? It has happened to me on more than one occasion. I chose to trust God and stand on what He initially said to me!!

Does it always work like that? No, of course not! It takes work and patience and several incidents to get to that place!!

I’ve learned that when there is doubt go with what is told to you in the beginning. Stop, pray, listen and then respond. Some of my greatest accomplishments came when I acted opposite of doubt.

With doubt comes fear and pride and other demonic spirits. Begin to speak to doubt when it arises. You have been given authority by Jesus to trade over scorpions and serpents. Authority and vet ALL things. You tell doubt where to go and not let it direct your path.

Stand in the place in which God has graced you. Move in obedience and confidence. I’m doing this you will always be successful!

The Impossible becomes possible

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19 KJV

God said He WILL even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert 🏜…

You know the desert, that dry place, that barren place, that place where you thought nothing would ever happen. For Abraham and Sarah, for Elizabeth, and for so many others He made the impossible POSSIBLE!!

Where in your life does things seem like they will never change for the good or that thing you’ve been hoping and praying for may never happen? So God is saying keep believing, keep trusting and when it seems like all doors are closed and you can do nothing else, WATCH ME MAKE A WAY IN THE DESERT, WATCH ME MAKE STREAMS WHERE THERE WERE ONCE BARREN AND DRY LANDS!!

Why do we?

Why do we use titles to get our way and manipulate situations? We think because we have a title in allows us to have our way like spoiled children. Truth is titles come with responsibility and unless we are willing to carry about that responsibility we shouldn’t pick up these titles. For example why get married if you are not able and willing to perform the duties of a wife or husband? Or, why have children if you aren’t ready to be a parent? I see a lot of misrepresented offices full of people using titles to acquire access to different places and yet the duties aren’t being carried out. Could this be one of the reasons why our society and children are so messed up?

Who Are You?

With so many leaders, who are the followers? Or are the leaders the followers and the followers leaders? We have so many leaders and yet they don’t know how to lead. Let’s ask a few questions: why did you become a leader? Why are you in the position you’re in? Did you train to be a leader? Are you involved in any continued education to improve your leadership skills?

I have seen so many people take on the leadership role and yet are not leaders. They don’t fit in the position. The pay was good, the prestige is awesome and yet the person doesn’t fit. So much is required to be a leader. I’m not saying you can’t train to become a leader but I am saying it’s about more than money and fame.
